THE PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA CONGRATULATED HIS HOLINESS THE PATRIARCH

On February 23, 1998, President Boris N. Yeltsin of the Russian Federation visited His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and all Russia in his business residence in Chisty pereulok and congratulated the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church with his 69th birthday. His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II thanked B.N.Yeltsin for the congratulations and greeted him on the Day of the Fatherland’s Defenders. After that the President and His Holiness had a talk.
