High guests of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem

On 13 March 2006, a delegation of the RF Internal Affairs Ministry headed by deputy minister major general M. Sukhodolsky visited the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem.

Representatives of law enforcement agencies communicated with their colleagues in Israel and received a blessing of the Live-Giving Sepulture of the Lord.

On 14 March 2006, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Israel I. Timofeev visited the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission. He met with the Mission’s Chief Archimandrite Elisei (Ganaba) to discuss the development of Ukrainian pilgrimage to the Holy Land, Orthodoxy in Ukraine and in the Holy Land and current events in the life of Ukrainian society.
